Gill Organic Grains
We began growing wheat at Upinngil in 2005, with just five acres of crop. In 2010, a partnership with Cold Spring Farm, also of Gill, led to the establishment of Gill Organic Grains. More acreage and improved processing and storage space has allowed us to expand our production. We currently grow more than 25 acres of wheat, rye, and buckwheat. We hope to expand into oats, corn, and beans in years to come.

The crops are harvested late summer to early fall with our McCormick combine. Our seed cleaner removes the chaff and weed seeds and the grain is stored in a warm, dry place in bags or bins.
Fresh-milled flour
Our flour is milled fresh year round. The flavor is phenomenal and will always enhance the nutrition and flavor of your baked goods. Flour and wheat berries are available in our Farm Store.
